2017 Empowering Women Program GFWC of Minnesota

GFWC of MN OfficersEvery odd year, GFWC of Minnesota clubs are given the opportunity to honor a member who demonstrates the unique quality of empowering other women.  This is your chance to honor one clubwoman during the GFWC of Minnesota Annual Convention in Bloomington on Saturday, May 6, 2017.

The following criteria describe an Empowering Woman:

  1. Demonstrates outstanding contributions to your club and its projects.

  1. Exhibits significant leadership qualities and the ability to encourage others to develop their leadership skills.

  1. Portrays a positive attitude and willingness to empower others.

Please write a brief half-page description of your Empowering Woman’s contributions to your club and how she has empowered others.  A picture suitable for reproduction would be great.  Be sure to include her activities at the district and state level or international level if she has been involved.  The information and photos you provide will be compiled into a commemorative booklet for distribution at the state convention.

Please submit your material by March 1, 2017 to:
